    Application Managed Services.
    Supported 24/7.

Keep business applications supported through monitoring, incident response, controlled maintenance and clear operational reporting. UPTECH works with enterprises across industries.

    What are Application Managed Services?

Application Managed Services (AMS), also called Application Management Services, outsource ongoing application operations, maintenance, support and improvement. UPTECH provides 24/7 coverage with responsibilities and service levels defined for each application. This service concerns business software; it is separate from customs manifest fees and marketplace affiliate marketing services that also use the acronym AMS.

    For business applications across industries.

ERP, CRM, customer portals, web and mobile applications, APIs and connected business systems can be assessed. Acceptance depends on architecture, lawful access, licenses, documentation and the requirements of the business. The logistics and entertainment cases below illustrate experience, rather than restrict the service to those industries.

    Service scope

    Work that produces reviewable outputs.

    06

    Reporting and improvement

Review incidents, changes, recurring problems and work that remains open.

    Deliverable
An operating report with owners, priorities and next actions.

Infrastructure administration, specialist security operations, cloud and license fees, and new feature development are scoped separately. Response, recovery and permanent resolution are different milestones; no universal recovery time or uptime percentage is promised here.

    Application lifecycle

Operate reliably. Improve with a plan.

Choose and combine ongoing operations, proactive maintenance and application improvement. The proposal separates operating responsibilities from approved development and major upgrades.

    01

    Operations and support

User requests, incident triage, access requests under approved roles, defect investigation and emergency fixes across agreed support levels.

    Reviewable outputs
Service desk records, escalation ownership, runbooks and incident evidence.
    02

    Proactive maintenance

Application monitoring, recurring-problem analysis, patches, compatibility reviews, performance tuning and recovery preparation.

    Reviewable outputs
Preventive maintenance calendar, root-cause records and a prioritized improvement backlog.
    03

    Improvement and modernization

Feature enhancements, legacy refactoring, upgrades, API integration and data-pipeline improvements, with functional, regression and performance testing.

    Reviewable outputs
An approved roadmap, acceptance criteria, test evidence and controlled releases.

    Service management with clear ownership

Design workflows with reference to ITIL: incidents, requests, problems, changes, releases and knowledge. Define SLA and KPI measurement, RACI responsibilities and service-review reports for the engagement.

    Automation and AIOps

Automate repeatable runbook tasks and use AI to assist alert correlation, ticket classification, log analysis and anomaly detection from approved data. Define permissions, review points, audit records and rollback before enabling actions.

    Enterprise platforms and custom applications

Build the service around the actual application, version, integration landscape and vendor entitlements. Confirm technical ownership, lawful access and specialist responsibilities during assessment.

    SAP

Scope application support for SAP S/4HANA, ECC and connected SAP applications, including business jobs, changes and integrations.

    Oracle

Define responsibilities for E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Siebel, JD Edwards and Oracle Cloud ERP, including integrations and upgrade coordination.

    Salesforce

Support CRM workflows, roles, configurations, integrations and platform-release checks for the selected Salesforce clouds.

    Microsoft

Coordinate Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Azure application services, including workflows, data connections and controlled updates.

    ServiceNow

Maintain ITSM workflows, service requests, access rules, integrations and approved platform changes.

    Custom applications and data

.NET, Java, Node.js, Python, React and Angular applications on AWS or Azure; databases, APIs, ETL/ELT jobs and data-quality checks within the accepted scope.

Taking over an existing application? Assess architecture and source access, transfer knowledge, stabilize operations and then review improvement priorities. Applications developed internally or by another vendor follow the same acceptance process.

    UPTECH project experience

    Business-critical logistics applications on AWS.

UPTECH delivered the full application managed service engagement for a Korean technology enterprise. The system connected warehouse management (WMS), transport management (TMS), freight forwarding (FFM) and yard management (YMS). Work was organized by business domain, coordinated with the customer's project contact and quality control. Jira supported work tracking; Zoom supported collaboration.

    UPTECHOperational coordinationCustomer contact

A dedicated team across systems and countries.

For a Korean entertainment and e-commerce enterprise, UPTECH established a 55-person Global Delivery Center team. A two-month knowledge transfer program in Korea preceded the move of most staff offshore. The team operated and maintained cinema systems in Vietnam and Indonesia and six internal systems in Korea. A bridge engineer and coordinator remained onsite to work with the customer.

Customer identities remain confidential. Team size and handover duration belong to this specific project; they do not define staffing or outcomes for other contracts.

    24/7 coverage, with explicit responsibilities.

The SLA defines incident priorities, measurement start points, response and recovery milestones, communication channels, escalation and dependencies. UPTECH performs the accepted operational work and reporting. The customer's application owner sets business priorities and approves changes. Infrastructure teams and software vendors remain responsible for their assigned components.

Questions before engaging an AMS provider.

Does UPTECH provide application operations 24/7?

Yes. UPTECH provides 24/7 application operations. Accepted applications, monitoring points, support channels, incident levels and responsibilities are set out in the service scope and SLA.

    Is AMS limited to logistics?

No. UPTECH offers AMS across industries. Logistics and the multi-country GDC are project examples. Each application is assessed against its technology, access rights, dependencies and business requirements.

Can UPTECH take over applications built by another vendor?

UPTECH first assesses lawful access, technical documentation, source access where needed, licenses, tooling and vendor dependencies. Acceptance and the work UPTECH can perform are confirmed after that assessment.

What is the difference between response and recovery?

A response acknowledges and classifies an incident. Recovery restores an agreed usable service state. Investigation and permanent resolution can be separate steps. Each milestone needs its own measurement rules and dependencies.

    What software maintenance is included?

Accepted work can cover defect fixes, dependency and patch reviews, compatibility adjustments, testing and controlled deployment. New features or major upgrades need a separately agreed scope.

Is vendor license maintenance the same as AMS?

No. A vendor maintenance or support entitlement can provide updates and product support. AMS organizes the people and processes operating your applications. Vendor fees, license rights and the operating service should be separated in the proposal.

How is AMS different from ad hoc incident support?

Ad hoc support addresses a specific request or problem. AMS establishes ongoing operational responsibility, monitoring, maintenance and reporting. The service provides planned readiness and preventive work as well as incident handling.

How much does an AMS service cost?

UPTECH quotes after reviewing applications, environments, integrations, current documentation, business impact, SLA requirements and workload. The proposal identifies included work, deliverables, exclusions and separately charged resources or development.

Who controls application data and access?

Ownership and permitted use follow the customer's existing rights, software licenses and contract. Access should be role-based, changes approved and actions logged. Handover and access revocation are defined in the engagement.

What happens when the engagement ends?

The exit plan identifies documentation, permitted incident and change records, open work, the receiving team and access transfer or revocation. Only information the parties are entitled to transfer is handed over.
